Hi Everyone! I am new here! :help: I have a 93 Corolla, I got it used and there is some funny smell when the AC is on. Can someone tell me that is it easy to change AC filter yourself? Where is the filter located and how? How often should I change it? Thank you very much

Hi

In the newer Corolla's it tells you in the manual how to change the aircon filter (it's behind the glove box in the E12). But I'm not sure about your version, but it just might.

Or may be a friendly Toyota dealer might tell you how.

How often should I change it?

In the owners Handbook it states that the Air Con filter should be changed every 24,000miles but I would recommend every 2 years regardless of miles (e.g. I won't 'clock up' 24,000 miles in 2 years).

Welcome to the club.

You don't have an A/C filter. It wasn't until the E12s (2003 and newer) that a cabin filter was introduced into the Corolla range, at least in the US.
