Help! It's Leaking...

Guys,

My missus SR has a leak, but I can't for the life of me find where the water is getting in from

The driver side rear foot well carpet gets wet when it rains, but the other side is fine. I've had the car up on the jack to take a look and see if there was a grommet or something that had pappoed out but I can't see anything obvious.

Anyone know if this is a common prob?

Thanks in advance

Are you sure it's just when it rains...not all the time?

Could be the heater? Isn't the heat exchanger located behind the passenger footwell on the Yaris? I know I had that problem on my last motor...not a Yaris though...so could be totally different... if so..I'll go back to my cupboard.

Could indeed come from the airco. If the line that evacuates the excess water to outside the car get's blocked, it'll start overflowing into the passenger side footwell.

Cheers, Yves.

Could be the rear wash/wipe pipe? I don't know where it goes, but if it goes down that side, then that could be it. My uncles Audi did it! If not that, there could be a very small tear in the door seal that lest a bit of water in and it's collecting in the footwell! I'd hate that... my subs under the drivers seat!!!
