Info Needed On Celica 2.0gt 1989

I have been offered a 1989 2.0gt but iam a subaru man and dont know much about toyota`s.So what are common problems/faults that happen with these cars and what should i be looking for when viewing it.Its a clean 1989 versio so what do you think its worth today.Any Help would me great Cheers

hmm, worth around £600in good nick.

check, suspension, gearbox for into 2nd and 3rd crunch, rust around arches and sunroof and windscreen pillars, coroded oil cooler pipes, clutch slave cylinder, anti roll bushes, genral wobble and ratle, steering rack, discs.

all the normal mate on a car clocking 16 years old.

once restored, these are cracking cars.

If it's a good example I would have thought more than £600 perhaps around the £1000+ for some really nice examples.
