Installing Amplifier On The Standard Head Unit

Hi, i've just bought me a new Yaris 1.3L Sol (2005).

I want to install an amplifier, is that possible with the builtin headunit, or do I need a new one?

I have some 8" Pioneer Speakers. Any body know of a good place to install them?

You can put your Speakers in the parcel shelf, as for the amp there is a topic from the other week relating to this. All I know is you will need a special sort of amp for the standard HU or a connector to convert something at the back of your standard HU for a amp.

I don't know much about amps so I canno't help you

Yoir amp needs to have high-level inputs to work from the standard head unit. Then splice some wires and away you go!
