Cruise Control - Gen 5

Whilst motorway driving today I just noticed that the cruise control of my GTR will only engage at speeds under 75mph which is OK if you want to stick in the slow lane.

Anybody else have cruise control which does not cruise at speeds above 75mph? Does it have anything to do with being a jap import? Or is it just my car thinking it is sunday every day???

I dont have CC in KITT but she is limited to 112 mph..... for now anyway :D I have bought a delimiter should go up to 140mph for use on tracks. :P

not sure if it was deemed safe to be cruising at speeds of over 70 mph.

watching asha on a track doing 140 mph , now that would be worth a look.

if its import then making it miles an hour instead of kph should of delimmited it , but some people use mph clock faces instead.

Hi mate, I bought my delimiter from Elite International. And I think it was about £45-£50. I havent had it fitted yet but if you know what you are doing then I guess it would be easy enough. It consists of 4 wires that must be soldered to bits of the signal wire loom and to the speedo head convertor.

They do come with easy instructions.
