no jaxx, just a drill file, and hacksaw. filler cap hole was marked out, i drilled holes round it with a 30mm hole saw and filed away the rest up to the marking.

YARIS NUT!!! damn good idea!!!

YARIS NUT!!! damn good idea!!!

Something like this should do the job earpl!

That does look good .. although i'm thinking on the lines of a fully closed box/cone taking air from only the cold air feed (preferably 2) as this will be more effective that way.

Earpl .. i'll wait for the good news as i'd be wanting one too!!:thumbsup:

It's the socks isn't it?.. :(

Just do a 'side' cover for the Apexi, separating the engine and filter  So it'd still be viewable, and redirecting/shielding any heat from the engine.

question for EARLP

does that apexi air filter system and the cold pipe make the tsport any quicker ?

I was going to alter the existing pipe on my t sport but wasnt sure if it was worth changing the air box . maybe change the air filter inside rather than the standard one

Wondered if the trd air filter was any better than the standard one in the t sport . Had a look at it ( a sort of concertina white lump . Made by Denso )

not really, just helps the engine breeth easier, it sounds absoloutely ausome and was defo worth getting i really would advise you got one :D in my experence induction kits are better than replacement filters, although i don have an K&N element in my A4 quattro which mad a nice difference. but then again at 87000 miles i dont think the air filter was ever changed.
