Corrosion On Ht Leads

After checking my HT leads ive noticed the contacts that pop into the dizzy cap (Leads 1 and 4) are corroded. 2 and 3 are fine. Ive had them for 1 year is this normal?

Not normal mate,

I'd replace the two rusty one as they might be part of your ruff running problem

not good replace them asap. and i'd fix your engine lid too.

Engine lid? A leak you think? The lids fine tho im sure of it..altho mentioning that my drive is a downwards slope meaning the water comes in at an angle and can directly hit the dizzy. Im buyin MrT HTs because they have the airtight clips rather than the pop-on boots of magnecore.

Ive also noticed black dirt..like carbon deposits on the same two contacts when I cleaned em a couple o times.
