I have just done abit of a service on the paseo. Had to change a couple of belts, new brake pads all round and a new oil filter with a change of oil! I also changed the turbo to down pipe gasket as it was blowing slightly!

running very nice again!

still havent had any problems with the 4efte conversion, runs well!

Glad to hear mate, have you got to the stage where you want something even faster yet? My last bike would top 160mph and I'd still come home and think I could do with something a bit quicker

Dont know of any, but be aware that if you do decide to do the conversion, a whole wiring loom has to be made. Its not a straight forward plug and play, unlike the sera and first gen paseo. The sera has two extra wires to be added, and the same for the 1st gen paseo. Ours are alot more complicated, but if your good with auto electrics you could prob work it out. Alot of work tho! Took us around 2 weeks to get it done, we stripped both wiring looms down and wired it one wire at a time.

or you could give me a wodge of money and have mine!!!

anyway good luck with what ever you decide to do!

lol, well i mean as of yet, my only mechanical experience involves changing the spark plugs / spark plug wires and radiator cap....thats it :S....i wanted to get a crappy old car to strip apart and practice mechanics on! lol, i dont know, when in uni maybe ill learn some stuff from the course (automotive engineering) then ill see! i really wanna try and get acquainted with mechanics stuff so i can all sorta **** to my car, know it inside out.....to take my car passion a step further :afro:

Well i would go for it, it takes a while to do, i had never done anything like that really. i bought myself an old car for £200 whilst mine was off the road! would be good if you did do it, i learnt alot and also makes it alot easier for when your working on it as you know where every thing is and what it all does!

 Hey whats up man?? How u doing?? I just bought a 96 Paseo and I say for stock, its not to bad. I sold (regretably) my 25th Anniv Mustang GT 300+hp last year. Have had it over 140 mph. Now I have this Toy. I see that you've done quite a bit to your ride. I have several ideas allready in mind. When it gets paid for next year I will start. I am interested (not prying) but about how much do you have in your motor 1). How much Hp 2) Can you explain the conversion?? 3) I know I can put a cold air kit on for starters K&N, but do you have any minor upgrades before possible future rebuild??

I only have 125,000 on a 5 speed. I will probably upgrade to 16's instead of 17's probably for money savings. Found a cool set up for that. But I'm going to paint my own murial over the whole car that will glow-in-the-dark. I have only found a couple of sites that have kits for these cars. I don't want something to racey but more rounded or pointed like the Acura?? Any help that you may offer would greatly be appreciated.

Thx for your time
