Cars & Car Conversions Action Day 2

After attending the last CCC Day with IMOC I will be going again on Saturday 14th June as it was a superb day out and some amazing vehicles of all descritions there from miini's to GT40 replica's, and of course a track which anyone can buy tickets.

Track time is charged at either £20 for 5 laps (35 cars on track :P) or (£10 for 5 parade laps, restricted to 70mph behind pace car).

I was thinking would we have enough support from TOC and LOC for me to book us a club stand ???

Anybody else up for Combe on Saturday 14th June ?

As I think I might have said on my first write up of the last CCC meet there should be a health wanring on trackday tickets....

Not for the risks of the obvious dnagers involved but due to the addictivness of it, I smoke but think trackdays a re more addictive than nicotene. I am still smiling from my last trip around Combe so can't wait till a week Satruday as I hjave 2 15 minute sessions waiting for me....

Working on the basis that each lap is about 1 min 35 secs that should be about 10 laps per session which is double each ssession that last time, with less cars on the track it should be one hell of a day :)

Only problem is those 15 minutes will go soooooo quickly

count me in mate but only for the parage laps, dont think the old girl will handle a full thrashing

is it just for track time or is there some sort of show as well cus dont mind displaying mine (the car i ment). and having a day out with the group.

any more gen for us novices who are not that used to the MEET scene :)

I found 15 minutes just right, my smile was starting to hurt at the end of the session....also the brakes on a mk1 golf gti were'nt up to much after!

any more news on this one ryan, or have we not got the interest this tme,,,,,,,,,,,,is it worth looking at booking a block run round the track just for TOC and LOC if you get enough interest.... :)

Doesn't appear we have the interest.

I shall probably be going down anyway, am sure I can gather a few cars together from various MR2 clubs for the event but will likely only be a week or two in advance, will be about £8 entrance and £20 for 5 laps....

After the £8 free to watch and good fun camping out at Quarry....
