Horrible Feeling

I got a phone call today of my insurance company, telling told me that my bank wouldn't release the funds to renew my insurance

So i got in contact with them and they told me that I hadnt authorised the transaction, which I suppose is true, but the insurance company told me that I wouldnt need too as they still have my account details.

So basically I had been driving my car without insurance for 3 days,

It's gutt wrenching thinking what could of happened :(

Just reminded me mine is up next month so went on to AA website and

did a quote for next year.....£257.97...FULLY COMP!!!!! :o

Nope, Uk spec Tbar and i hardly do any miles so i got a quote with low mileage.

Think thats why its so cheap this year...

But they are cheapist I found for mine.

I had this happen to me a couple of years ago. Are you with Tesco?

You bank is right. The ins. co. has to get another agreement in place before they can happily remove fund from your account.

Least they are looking after your best interests - imagine they let funds out to anyone who requested?
