Never been fussed on the Veilside skirts, but in that colour, they suit the car.

Congrats mate. Beautiful car.

Rather tasty bling thing going on there I have to say.

Was it a job done at mates rates or did you pay full price? Just curious what it costs to respray an MR2.

Prices on re-sprays will vary depending on how good quality the job is

Andy (Jappy beast) had a full colour change done for around £600

And Jim_mr2 had his re-sprayed (apart from the boot lid and engine cover)

for around the same money.

I've seen both paint jobs and they are pretty good...

I'd say £600 is very cheap for a re-spray

I paid 800 for mine and that was mate rates, paint costs 400 pounds on its own

Well, I paid £1200 for my rolling Shell of a Hillman Imp to be bare metalled and full inside out respray, so £600 sounds very cheap to me. Might have to have a word with him and see how much it will cost me, though paint will be expensive

1200 quid is cheap for a bare metal re-spray!

I used to work in a bodyshop and believe me... i know much work is involved in doing that!

Well it was a mate of a mate and a nice little cash job fitting in between jobs. Dropped it off and with the two guys working on it when they could, I had it back in three weeks fully painted and laquered.

I know they spray a lot of scoobies etc so hopefully he will do me a good price on the 2
