Ok I thought it was 'cool' that my Celica had a big Jap stereo in it... until now! I have bought a 'normal' sized stereo without thinking about the big hole left by the Jap one! So does anyone know what parts I need, and where to get them from? Im hoping I don't need to replace the whole centre facia!

you need a facia plate mate, from the toyota dealers , its a plastic strip with a bracket either side to join into the head unit,it also has toyota embossed on the front of it, i think they cost close to £ 40.

You do indeed need a facia plate, though £40 is way too much money. I got mine from a local Auto shop (Autoquip in Torquay, Devon) for £15. It's a semi-universal (fits a number of cars) one and rather than giving you a plate, you get a nice pouch to put things in. Although it was semi-universal, it did fit the mountings perfectly and looks like it grew there.
