Rear Seat Fold Down?

I have a 92 Paseo.

There is a way to unlock the rear seat from the trunk, I unlocked the seat locks on each side of the rear seat from the trunk but cannot get the seat to fold forward to access the trunk from the inside.

I keep my cleaning supplies in the trunk (clean buildings on the side) and the rear key lock sometimes sticks and I cannot get to my trunk and my supplies.

The owners manual is lost and I cannot find any other release handles to open/access it from the interior!

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

:D HI, have u tried W D 40 USING THE KEY as u spray down the barrel , water get s every were.... then if u are succesful spray all LOCK, S with a chain grease aerosol ... don,t spray ignition lock :o

A gentle thumping on you boot as u turn key may help....

From memory you don't have to unlock anything.... (but i could be wrong - its been a while since i pulled my seat out)

there should be 2 tags on the top sides of the rear seat - pull those forward & the seat should follow - give it a sharp tug to release the clasp in the centre...

i'll double check in a bit if thats right though.
