Door Switch Thingy?

I may be being dumb here but what the ell, near the door pins and the door catch there is also a swivelling pin catch thing, what the heck is this for??? ;)

Its for locking the seatbelt....

Dont ask me why but its not on the UK cars.

yup, pull the belt out with the door open and let go ..

swivel the switch and do it again ..

I thought that it retracted the seat belt once you opened the door. Everytime you open the door you here that sound of the belt being pulled up???

It pulls your belt up when you open the door, had so many girlfriends trying to feed the belt up with the door closed!
