i may get some buckets but i know there are no sub frames for the paseo, i know some one has fitted the seats in but can't remember who.

i have looked at the new shape Celica and the fittings are very similar was thinking about trying a sub frame that are ment for them.

DazH has some OMP Racing buckets in his 'seo, i wanted to ask him bout those as well.....and i wanted to know how he hooked up his harnesses........dazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, where are yoou ??

I also want to know about subframes for the starlet ! Do you just weld brackets on ?

Yeah, DazH is the one to talk to about these. There's a thread he posted about the hassle he went through modifying the subframes for the new seats.

the new celica seats do not fit the paseo at all, i bought a set of leathers and they didnt fit, ended up buying a new celica instead!!! then decided didnt want leathers and sold them!

i've looked into it before, it depends what seat manufacturer you are going for, companies like cobra only make subframes for a handful of cars, but i belive they made a set up for a guy with an evo (probably expensive), companies who make bucket seats for competition use will probably have a better idea as to what might fit. the only other option is side mounts, which is alot of ar*ing around. the option i am gonna go foris just to get a universal set, and spend a good couple of days adapting them with a welder!!

i think a starlet owner on here has some corbeau seats... is it you toby?

speak to cheeky rick, he bought some seats and was going to weld the runners on from his old seats, this is what i would have done too and what ive done with other cars ive had in the past. Rick may have a spare set of seats from his "spare" paseo, if hes finished doing his.

PM sent Bakewell

Riko666, Harnesses are attached underneath subframe for the side straps on to some heavy duty eyelets which are bolted in. The rear straps are bolted to the mounting points behind the seat for the rear belts. If anyone fits harnesses PLEASE make sure the mounting points are intended for that purpose and are strong enough
