Bit Of A Random Thread...sorry

Im not great with AutoCAD. I can use it but not very well. I just cant copy drawings to a Word document without transporting the black background along with it and obviously I dont want that!

Anybody tell me where Im being daft? Cheers.

(Sorry about randomness of post, just that Im using it for a uni courseowrk and it would be handy).

Change the black background to white in AutoCAD!...

My old man uses Cad and StruCad, Ill see what he says.. What about changing the file extnesion?

I never really had a proper look at it last night. Think ive fixed the problem now after looking at it again.

which type of autocad is it

you have to be careful which 'space' your in i.e. model space etc...

mind you i aint used autocad for ages more customed to CATIA V5 now!

It was just an old copy of AutoCAD v14 cos got that at home. Not used it for a couple of years, but think ive solved the problem now anyway.
