Running 6x9, Doors And Dash From Head Unit.

ive got an alpine head unit with a built in 60w amp running my dash and door Speakers.

I want some 6x9s, but im wondering of i'll need a seperate amp to run them with the other Speakers.

Has anybody managed to get all six running from a head unit?

Not recommended, it's got 4 outputs for a reason, add another 2 Speakers and you start overloading the internal amp.. Buy another amp

maybe i could disconnect the doors and use that connection for 6x9s?

Yes, you can do that no problem, although the amp is still underpowered for the Speakers.. can't see it doing alot of harm myself
