Ok so i'm gonna buy some lowering springs but what i want to know is...

If i buy spring designed for rev3 onwards, will this lower the car further than

springs designed for 90 - 95 cars

Mine is a rev 1 and has rev 3 springs on it already

so its lower than standard anyway...

Both sets will lower the car by 40mm but if i'm right in what i'm thinking,

the rev 3 lowering springs should be about 10mm lower on my car...

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Going to order them tomo.

Please help.

I bought a set of 40mm Pi springs 90-94 and fitted 'em on my 94 mr2 on saturday.

Trouble is, the car seems to be sitting at the same height as before!!

I checked the tech. spec. - ground clearance is 135mm so i measured mine. Ground clearance is about 130mm.

Anyone any ideas why? I have lowered other cars 40mm in the past and the difference is quite obvious, but not this time.

Thanks for reading.

Do you know for sure that the car hadn't already been lowered?

I put a set of Eibach springs on mine (-30mm) and it only dropped about 5mm! Doh.

The guy that had the car before me in Japan had already put -25mm springs on it!!!
