Are the heaters in the EP82 poo or do i have a problem??

The heaters are really poor when on the de-mist setting and very slightly better on the feet... does anyone have any suggestions, I havent had the car long so just checking this isnt a trait of the car!

Any advice welcome

Is the air HOT or just WARM ? There could be air in the coolant system

Or a build up of crap in the coolant system.

Try getting the system flushed. It's easy to do and can make a massive difference.

regardless the heating system on the starlet isnt that efficient.

saying that i think mine works great,an doesnt take 2 ticks to clear the screen

mine works fine. demists the car really quickly. it doesnt get as hot as my mk4 fiesta did but it gets warm enough to stop me getting cold. just warm enough to keep your hands infront of the blowers without it starting to burn :P

the coolant breaks down after a while and gets full of gunk so i would flush it out. if you flush it the "heat transfer coefficient" within the heat exchange improves so you get warmer faster.
