I am looking for tune up specifications for a 1987 Toyoa Starlet non-turbo with a 2E-ELU Motor. I need the folowing specs:

- Valve adjustment / lash.

- Idle speed.

- Where I can purchase a service manual.

- Any other spec or help that I can get.

From memory the idle speed is 795rpm or there abouts.

Thanks for your information. I found the web site helpful also. Can you tell me a little more about the custom extractors you described for the 2E-ELU? Do you still have them and want to sell them? Thanks

I had a local exhaust company fabricate me up some 4 into 1 tuned length extractors, then had them heat treated. The made a massive difference.

Unfortunatly I sold them when I swapped to the 2e-telu engine. They cost me around $350nz from memory which is quite expensive but they were a one off as no aftermarket extractors were available off the shelf.
