C-one

Yep, the Yaris is hardly screaming around corners and doing 200mph down straights..

Yeap, you got it!

On the other side of the coin, would it be best NOT to have the extra body kit?

Less kit = Les weight = Better Performance? Unless it’s just for looks

This equals more money in your pocket

But the C-One kit is carbon fibre so weighs pretty much nothing, and replace the bonnet and even less weight!

Maybe the small C-One spoiler then which isn't carbon fibre.

Im agreeing with TVOR here, forget the kit, instead invest in some coilovers ;) , a T-Pot that's looks nice as it is.. some alloys, Carbon bonnet, coilovers (so it handles like it's on rails), back box, ind kit... sorted.

Then go down Kimi's route :D

Carbon front lip

£ 299.00

I guess the TS/RS Version?

Front half spoiler

£ 349.00

None TS/RS Version? But more expensive? Guess its cause its full length.

Carbon side lips

£ 549.00

I guess this is the side skirts (jesus what a price! There not even full length)

Carbon rear bumper lip

£ 299.00

This the RS/TS Version?

Rear under spoiler

£ 299.00

Guess this is the non RS Version and none carbon.

GT wing

£ 399.00

That huge horrible thing.

= £2194.00

I would put the money towards a nice T-Sport...

Hehe.

I have a huge word document of all my future plans, highlights include:

Koni Sports Suspesion Kit

16" Oz Gemini (New)

TRD Strut Brace

Fujitsubo

Apexi Induction Kit

Full Alpine ICE System

C-One kit, just to give it the lower look and so every morning I can touch the carbon fibre.

May not even have a spoiler, keep it smooth.

Body kit is dead money, you never get it back. £2194.00 is a lot not to get back :crybaby:

T-Sports are uncommon to start with.

A T-Sport that hasn’t been tinkered with is even rarer!

I took my own advice and bought a YTS, you have a head start over the average car. I’ve always had average cars in the past and the Yaris, IMO is great as it is (In what ever guise)

Bodykits = WASTE OF MONEY!!

£2000 is a sh*t load of dosh.... another grand and you'll have Kimi's toy!

Gotta have money to burn to sped that much on something that decreases the value of your car and lokks bo**ocks!

What do you all say about the carbon fibre bonnets? Yaris WRCs car? Morette lights?

So you say ICE, Tuning and handling are the only things to be messed with?

I say ICE, Tuning and handling are the best things to work with. With subtle styling hints here and there throughout the time you have the car.

I don't mind Carbon Bonnets, provided they don't have some stupid massive air intake as it looks stupid on a car not needing it.

There are many subtle styling things you can do which really make a difference, without spending massive amounts on a bodykit, which yes grabs attention, but everybody you drive past, unless they're wearing a Max Power T-Shirt, will think 'boy-racer idiot'.

Try some simple things first... de-badge, tinted windows and side indicators, chrome number-plate surround, alloy aerial etc etc. These are pretty cheap, simple things that give subtle styling gains.

But, as with everything... it's everybody to their own, and whatever you like, you should do, after all... it is your car.

Indeed.

Obviously the subtle mods need to be done. They are 1st Yr projects, only 3 big things to do are Suspension (inc shocks and strut brace) alloys and exhaust. Between all them window tints, aerial, debadge it down to a Toyota i think, clear fog light, minor interior tweaks cause I love the interior as it is!

Then once they are done who knows what I may want a subtle spoiler never hurt anyone.

Each to their own..

I love the plain carbon fibre bonnets without the scoops.. Even better with coloured weave

I'd rather invest in Coilovers and alloys than spend 2k on bodymods, the T-Pot is a good looker as standard and like Seveer said, little touches make a big difference without spending BIG wonga.

I just got an ordinary yaris bodykit including spoiler and then just added a booster rear diffuser single exhaust and some other booster bits and front fogs but didnt cost that sort of money

Nice TTE spoiler will make your car look great, I think subtlety is the way to go.

Strut braces have had a good review on here, and you are on a winner with an upgrade on ICE.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE MODS!

I feel a small scale war is coming...

Im taking this advise onboard, espically that information on the GT Wing but I think its still going to happen.

I dont like alot of bodykits, espically ones which dont work with the cars styling. But I do like them if they work well!

This is the best example of modding I have known...

Very subtle but very effective, no flash go faster wings or over the top body kits. Money has been spent on the things you can’t see but I’m sure you can feel!

I would be going down this route if I took the gauntlet

Crisis :

Its true that there are not that many body kits which look that good

I personally like the C1 rs kit youve been talking about . It depends what you want to do first ie go for the looks first and perfomance later or vice versa

The body kit does work out a lot of money and yes , you can do more in terms of performance modding with that money . I supporse you could just start with the carbon bonnet and window tints ( not expensive ) and then maybe shocks / springs ?

Up to you at the end of the day let us know what you will do

Looks first, then some tuning then some more looks, being young its the look that counts and tuning has an expensive wiplash from insurance.

This kit is alot of money, BUT if you dont have to paint it (cause its carbon fibre) you save money so if you take that into account it works out £100-£200 more than another cheaper kit which has to be painted as well though.

Obviously basics first, to get the car upto a good modified standard then put the bodykit on as a final piece. So suspension, alloys, tints, exhaust will all be done before hand plus some sound system which is already about £2k with all of these and probably a bit more.

Cheers, also going to go gold, so hopefully save a couple of £100 on MODs from Envy and co, dont know how much I get off though. 10% would rock! But anything is better than nothing.

so isit only me who can see the TRD brows and likwid art grafix?

i like kimi's car too but i think you should let people do wot they want and not force your views upon others which you do seem to do im not wanting to start a war but you try and stop people doing what they want and jump the gun, just step back a minute and realise its a free world

just my 2 p worth,
