Sim Free Phones

think im after a new phone. The one i want is only available on pay monthly for like £20 for phone OR sim free from £210+

what does sim free mean? does it mean that i can put a pay as you go sim card in?

yeah it means theres no card with it.

you will have to check if its a tri-band for your sim card, but you can un-lock them.

if you get sim free then expect to pay extorionate prices...

If you get a o2 pay as you go phone you will find that its cheaper than sim free (or orange or voda etc)

and then just unlock it...

works out cheaper

BUT!! im still deciding what phone i want. I was considerin the O2 X3 but lookin at users reviews, i wont bother looking at it. I quite like the e800 and have heard alot of good stuff about it.

If anyone can find me a phone that meets the requirements:

-- pay as you go or sim free

-- if a flip or slide phone

-- has a camera

-- can capture video

then pleaseeeeee help!! lol!

if u get sim free, then go to supa tech down shilds and get it unlocked for £10,

e800 does have video but its only on the revised models with the turning camera!

sim free shouldn't need unlocking - as they are sim free and not locked to a network!

Just buy a pay as you go from whoever do it cheapest - then get it unlocked if you need to.

the camera will swivel, on old model the camera is fixed

i just bought one off a site! it has video coz it has the video icon amonsgt the icons inidcating what it has, plus the desription says it can capture upto 30secs, good enuff for me :D

I had an O2 X1 and I had problems with it from day one - they even admitted a batch of the phones were faulty but refused to give me a refund as I'd had it more than 6 months..... I had to settle for a repair job but as soon as I got it back I gave it away! Not worth selling!
