Only the super intelligent may reply to this  (kidding :P )

As I will probably be needing to e-mail begging lette----oops. job applications.

I have a slight problem.

Since fitting a router (so Anne can use the lappy on line while i'm on the pc)

Whenever I try to send mail it asks to connect, but as i'm going through a router there is no line connection.

Do I contact my server, outlook express or the router supplier??

Or is there anybody who knows how to set the "whatever" up?

Cheers.

Les

In OE or Outlook, go into tools/accounts - choose your email account - properties - then connection (and there should be a LAN connection), choose that then try

Yeh, there should be something that will allow you to connect in the settings without using a dial tone etc. I am not hugely familiar with outlook etc, but I presume it will work much the same as in windows when setting up internet connections.
