if hes englands best player, he should go to Real with the other countries' best and then maaybe his f*£kin head will deflate when he realises he aint as good a player as he thinks he is. the things hes good at are free kicks - which any of the Real booys could do as good as him; crossing - which Real can do also; and determination - he runs round after the ball a lot but he cant fappin tackle!

sumone please explain where in the Real time he would fit? the bench is where i see him most weeks if he goes

as a winger, he lacks the pace to do the job properly, which is why he plays a lot of long balls

as central, he cant tackle!

Steve Gerrard is a more complete player the Becks i reckon even if he is a bit more tempramental.

I new someone would bite!! I don't care, I just find it funny that people jip other sports, football is 10 times more skillfull than Rugger, so the rugby lads just call them pussies they are chalk & cheese, footballers should admit that rugby is a tough hard game, and take there hats off to the rugby lads. Boxing is different again, all about speed and stupid fitness levels.

p.s. boxers don't have to prepare for a ruck, Joe Bloggs v's a boxer would be on his ***** before he knew it ;)

Your point is quite correct. Each sport should be judged on it's own merits.

Even something as relaxed as Snooker looks pathetic when you turn on the TV and see the slow pace compared to your other sports with bodies dashing all over the place. But it is a great strategic, skillful game enjoyed by millions everyday.

Used to be good at Rugby but got tackled once and the whole opposition team appered to end up on top of me. :( :( Ouch. Kinda a put me off a bit after that.

Still like to watch Internationals though.

Problem over here sports aren't pushed enough....

Other countries like the states for example are good at marketing their sports which helps the popularity and have a great diversity, plus the fact that kids do so many sports at school (but still turn out obese) so have a lot of people to create some decent teams.....

Kids don't do enough sports over here giving us less chance of getting competitive at anything....

Climbing is my main sport - anyone hear about the guy climbing in the states last week who got his arm stuck in a rockfall, got bored of waiting to be rescued, so he cut it off just below the elbow (with a swiss army knife!) and walked home?

In my case, they went through a stage of showing the NBA twice a week, at this time lots of people started playing basketball, now it's stopped on TV, so all the interest stops aswell! We &#33;Removed&#33; think up all the sports, but teach the world how to beat us!

There is going to be a "sports idol" soon on TV, my cousin who lives in Ireland is probably going to in the show, he does Athletics for Ireland...look out for him! ( he's called Tom)

Basketball is great. Was in awe when I did some photography with the London Towers a couple of years back.

Steve, that climber in the US was certainely a brave man.

Tyson still has his moments and I agree, in his day he would have beaten almost anyone. Though that is not for sure. Lewis is and can be difficult. He would have given Tyson a good run all factors considered.

I met Audley Harrison four years ago in a nightclub and he told me to watch out for him. I didn't think much of it until I saw him at the Olympics.

Not sure now though. Give him to Tyson so he can toughen up. :P :D ;)

Don't think this is a good idea. Too much of this type of "cheap" tv around. It really does not bring out the real talent.

He's a good smart boxer, he is a bit old considering how new to the sport?!? My grandad was the great Britain boxing coach, he has worked many times with Audley, he thinks he's a good boxer. He has worked with Bruno, Tyson, Nas, all the top british boxers...he's a bit of a Mr Miagi("wax on, wax off") ;)
