Hi all,

I am a new member .

I drive a Carina E GLI (good car) with 3S-FE engine. For over a year the Check Engine light has been on due to bad Air intake Temperature sensor which was disconnected. it seems it has started affecting the performance of the car now as the jerks at "pick-up"

Does anybody know where I can get a new or used one to buy?

I am based in Nigeria but can get someone to pick it up from UK or buy online.

Does'nt sound like a temp sensor prob. More like a TPS or Dizzie pick up reading. I'd check your connections to the dizzie and Throttle body for starters. Try using a multi meter to check for values.
