Wipers That Know When They Need Changing

After running around at the Northern mini meet with a torn wiper rubber I got round on Monday to buying a new 26" one from Toyota for the drivers side on my gen 7. It came with a white sticker (to be removed) revealing a small black shiney square on the arm. This turns white when it's time to change the wiper. Wierd

Anyone come across these before?

Got mine replaced on my 20k service a few weeks ago.

They have the the automatic smear and miss the screen facility when they need changing.

Hmmm, the screens smeared and the nearside blade misses most of the screen.

Ah well, nothing lasts forever.

As soon as they are compromised in any way, replace them. The only time you use wipers is when your visibility is reduced, so why have dodgy wipers for the sake of a few quid! Especially this time of year.

Wipers and tyres are my two items I won’t be tight on.
