Any Advice For A Newbie ?

Looking for a new company car, I wouldn't have considered the Prius until I read the rave review in Top Gear Magazine ... and the total hatchet job by Clarkson on TV.

Given that I probably wouldn't like anything that JC likes, I thought the opposite might also be true - so I fixed a test drive in the Prius.

This was a surprisingly positive experience (3 hours on my own in a T4 demonstrator) and the dealer (eventually) quoted a reasonable contract hire rate. After checking the company car tax situation - and finding this forum and its enthusiastic members - I signed up for an Aztec Bronze T Spirit.

I've now been given a "provisional" delivery date of 23 March so I'm starting to get excited. So do any of you experienced hybrid drivers have any advice for a newbie ? Anything you wish you'd known before taking delivery ??

Ar eyou avble to apply for the £700 EST Grant, that is available? ensure you do, and that the dealer doesn't pocket it. you have to apply before ordering though !!

otherwise just sit back and enjoy 50+ MPG.

on the T4 you wil enjoy the cruise control and the music system, but i suppose it depends on what you are used too.

Late March delivery? That's pretty good. I thought there was a 5 monthg waiting list.

Enjoy the car when you pick it up. You'll be smiling when you're sat in a traffic jam like the rest of us!
