Fitting Cruise Control

I do a lot of miles in the course of a week and find my self wishing I had Cruise Control on my UK model Gen 6 GT. I was wondering if anyone had an idea (as I don't :) ) what would be involved in fitting this, indeed is it even possible if it wasn't fitted as standard?

Thanks

Andrew

I read in someones camping magazine once, about a kit that you could fit to any car - so I would have thought it can be done,

might luck a bit ugly with a generic stalk attached though??

Thanks sotal,

I've just looked round and there seem to be a couple of universal options at reasnobal prices.

If possible though I'd like to fit the propper system for the car though I may consider a univeral system if it's the only sensible option.

Thanks again

That's the sort of thing I had in mind. Do you know which bits would need changing? If it's a mare of a job I'll probably leave well alone but if it's simple enough then think it will be well worth the expence. I would imagine it's just a case of fitting some sort of throttle controler, hooking it up to the speedo and putting some buttons on the dash but I may be over simplfying it in my head.
