just put my details in here just for a laugh, to see what my next quote would be like.

last year with 3 ncb i paid £850

with 4 years, my lowest quote thru this site was £1,500..

has any1 else found that their premiums hav gone sky high recently?, or is it just an internet insurance blooper?

confused.com varied from between £700 to £1700 for my quote with them..... I expect it to be higher than last year because of my "at-risk driver" status they have oh so kindly bestowed on me now.... :censor:

The cheapest was from Diamond, so I clicked on the link to take me to Diamond, but the quote changed to £900 instead of £700..... think there is something not quite right there!

directline wouldnt quote me online, neither would elephant.

gaaay!

Are you adding all your mods to get your quote?

yeah thats a point, the mods thing dont work as you need to specify exactly what you have.

and i must admit they are very clued on mods  if not a little 'textbook'

heres a tip....

dont declare any mods, then tell them after you have joined.. tis too late then...

I really think you should try CIS, dont tell them about your mods, then when you do, they dont give a holy crap and they wont add any premuims.....

If you have engine mods then they will...

Try Lifesure Brokers. They specialise in imports and modified cars and search most of the current insurance companies. I found them very helpful and beat Direct line, who i had been with for 5 years, by a few hundred pounds.
