Common Faults To Look For On A Starlet?

Hi guys :)

I'm going to have a look at a starlet gt turbo for a friend of mine and i was just wondering if theres any specific faults on these cars that i need to keep an eye out for?

Check the cambelt, to make sure its not perished.

mayonaise under the oil filler cap.

tappets can sometimes be noisey, but go away after the oil has got round.

check all the hoses to make sure they aren't nackered.

Big one is check the brakes. They have a nasty habbit of not wearing evenly on the disc, so the outside of the disc may be okay but the inside could be nackered. Make sure you check them. ALso check the brake fluid is clean.

As its a turbo make sure its not smoking. if it is walkaway.
