Hello And A Few Questions About Security

Greetings to all. 1st newbie post here with a few security questions.

In the process of getting a RAV4 XT3 5-door and was wondering how easy it is to steal the spare wheel cover off the back of the rear door .

Is there a way to secure it ?

Is it worth getting one of those steering wheel lock things or is the factory ignition lock setting enough ?

Due to being a biker most of the time I am a bit clueless when it comes to cars. Thanks for any info.

The Wheel cover comes off very easily, To stop this there a small metal loop at the bottom of the wheel cover that you can attach a small padlock. Can I suggest a waterproof one as if you buy a normal brass one the key hole will get full of dirt and when you go to try and open it you will end up having to take a hack saw to the padlock.
