What Made U Buy Your Car?

My mate wants to buy a different car, he is not sure what to get, it's between a Escort Cossie and a TT Supra? I'm telling him to get a Supra but he wants the handling of the Cossie?! What made u buy your car? and what was your second choice? :(

The doors and the rarity were the reason for getting my car – I like to be different, second choice would be a celica of some description I suppose (slthough they're not at all rare!)

wouldn't say no to an R32 Skyline GTR

I've always loved the MR2 since my first one 7 years ago so when I got the money together to buy my new car there was no choice, it had to be an MR2....

If I couldn't have got this mR2 my second choice would have been an MR2 :) :) :)

Ryan, why did u love 'em so much? was it the looks, performance, interior???

All of the above, I love the sound, the way it drives, the looks, the availability of support....

I know I'm modest but there's not many car's in it's price range that would beet it, considering I paid £3750 for mine and for that price I know have....

Autopista Spoiler and Skirts

HKS Induction

Uprated Suspension

Mongoose Exhaust

16" Racing Sparco Crimsonetta alloys

Revision 6 light clusters

Gold Toyota Badge :P

I can't think of any other car where you get as much bang for your buck, and of course the Toyota Reliability.

Other factors, there is a lot of support for the MR2 online and I love the fact on Saturday I could be on track but still able to drive it to work during the week :)

I'm just an MR2 fanatic I guess....

had to go for the yaris t-sport got it new for £11,200 which is a lot for a small car but when you look at what it has spec wise (everything!),style, cheap to run & insure, reliability, aesthitically pleasing cockpit (which is rare these days, not a black lump of plastic) and rarity (well i havent seen many, makes a change from the usual saxo!) but the biggest reason has to be its such good FUN to drive...

Yeeha!!!

fun has to be top of the list, no point buying a car that you get bored in, not only would you get wound up but risk of crashing increases...

Same as my thoughts about the GT4, for under £4000 u get a 2.0 16V Turbo 4X4 rally slag!! which looks original & well built. :)

I always find that strange buying a car without test driving it, how can you know you'll like a car without driving it first....

Even if you love the looks of a particular car you may find that you hate the way it handles/drives so much you'll end up hating it and have thrown all that money away.....

I bought my Celica cos I drove past the forecourt and saw it looking dead sexy amongst all the family cars. It looked a little bit lonely so hooked up a test drive and was hooked. The deal was done and here we are, six years on still going strong.

i gots mine cos i had never seen one before and it was yellow!

i had major plans for it til after i bought it and discovered no one really supports the car too much. everything had to be custom which meant expensive. and the insurance compnay started to dislike me a little when i told them my plans...

but im happy with it. its pokey enough for round town and the wheels, drop n exhaust were piece-o-***** to get on.

I needed a small ar as where I work the gate in to the garage is only 5ft 11 I like the Yaris from the start as I loved the different look it has but when I went to look at some I hated the interior (I fussy about interiors) I have pattern seats and stuff and I also hated the seats so I went right of the |Yaris and went to look at a renault Megane Coupe I even put a deposit on one then my husband said lets go to the Toyota show room to look at a Yaris T Sport I wasn't convinced but I went and I saw the Yaris T Sport version and just loved it.

I managed to find one that was only 8 months old with only 3400 on the clock and bought it for an amazing 8000 which was about 2500 less than every one else was asking for the same type of car.

I love my Yaris T Sport.

I got my first starlet an sr by chance wasn't really looking for a new car but saw an advert for one in the local paper at Colleyweston Garage and was impressed by the standard specs speedline line alloys, better suspension, rear spoiler and exhaust system. I liked the fact that is was cheap to insure and quick for a 1.3 also there ain't many about. So i brought it after a while the modification bug started to bite again and i looked about it was a year down the line had some no-claims built up, i looked at converting the sr to a turbo but found it was cheaper to buy the real thing.

I love the Glanza it's quick and really rare the amount of people that look at it with the wtf is that look on there face always makes me :D

It's quick too even more so now i've started playing with it. I was playing (on a private road of course) with a uk turbo scooby and kept up nicely  he was not happy and was even more upset when i told him it was a 1.3 :P :D

thats an easy one,, i'd just got devorced about 6 six years ago and after getting screwed by the judges in the courts i went out and thought right i'm buying something for me and me only.

i always wanted a supra since i saw my first mark II, so when i found one for sale i bought it as simple as that......

Got me Yaris T Sport as my wife had one first. Went along to the local dealer and i saw a celica 140bhp Y plate. And i really liked the car and i thought yes i have got to have it.

So when they worked out the monthly repayments it wasn't worth getting as i could have got a newer car for the money i was going to spend. So i thought about the Yaris SR. They done the working out and i was all going to sign on the dotted line and the salesman said i can do you a Yaris T Sport for £20 more a month :D ;) oooooooohhhhhhhh yes....

So there you have it. That how i got my Yaris T Sport.

jerry!!
