Two Questions

Hey everyone. I'm curious as to whether I will need any body work to use 17X7 wheels and 215/40-17 or 215/45-17 tires on my 2002 Celica GT. I won't be ordering wheels til march but I figured I should get all bases covered before I do.

Secondly, do any of you have experience with any of the various lowering springs out there for the Celica? I have been looking around at various parts--so i can offset the increase in ride height--but I can't really find any good reviews. So, I would be appreciative if anyone can give me opions of the Eibach Prokit and Sportline, the Tein S-tech, the Hotchkis sport coil springs, Tanabe springs, and HKS sport form lowering springs. Thanks.

17" wheels are a factory option on the gen 7 Celica, so they should fit without any clearance troubles, providing you get wheels with the correct offset.

Not really sure on your options for lowering springs, but I believe Toyota themselves sell a spring set (it might be one of the ones you mention) which is supposed to be pretty good.
