Rolling Screw!

Ok, don;t even ask!!!! The short question here is how can I get to remove the two bits of plastic that are at each side of the gear stick to get access to the underneath. I appear to have something moving around down there - sounds like a rolling screw, and its doing my head in on over f)(*ing corner. :ffs: Rich
