Someone Explain?

is it against toc rules to tell other members if you have an item that you want to sell, i have an 3S-GTE engine i want to sell but it think my posts are getting removed, im sorry if its against the rules guys its not intentional, i just thought id offer my engine to my friends on toc before i put in local news papers and eBay, could you let me know if this is against the rules.
