right, in my new gt its still got the silly jap radio in and its massive! ive got a head unit to put in, but obviosly it wont fit, so where sells the adapters to make it into the DIN stanard? and will i have to wire in a DIN connecter ?

Is it a double din head unit?? If so some toyotas dont need adaptors just blanking plates to fit a new headunit. If the current headunit is screwed in at the sides into a removeable frame (not a cage) then you need a blanking plate. If it has a cage you need a din adaptor.

You will prob need a wiring adaptor from toyota to the make of the new headunit. i.e. toyota to Clarion.

I know this might not be of great use but im sure a starlet owner will make it clearer for you with their experience.
