hey chiz what wheels and tyres are you running on as i have 15" 205s but the alloys have been oversprayed very badly and the tyres altho new arent that hot so i am looking at upgrading was goint to go 17 but after reading a few posts i think 16" will do,did you buy yours local or know any localshops that have reasonable prices

i need sideskirts but i need to save my cash :( not very good at that. To be a pain, do you have any amps in ya car, if so where are they earthed to.

As i have just got a nice new sub and amp, but i cant run it at a good volume cos there is a power problem somewhere :censor:

yeh my stock alloys wer a complete mess they wer peeling and everything! i got my 17s from america ther ADR Oktanes, got them thru a group buy run by a top guy called kev over on celica-club!

tyre wise i use 215/40/17s if i rem correctly and u can get them at the bargain price of around £200 delivered from www.mytyres.co.uk ;) .... bargin and the tyres r gud, nankang ns2's or something... been running them a bit now and seem wicked for price!

im not too sure about any local places that sell alloys, i no place up linthorpe sell them! but for the best deals have a quick flick thru a maxo flower or fast car mag... tho one place that iv dealt with and have a very good rep and seem to be good for prices is www.swtyres.co.uk

as for size... id say u mite be disapointed with the look of 16s, i no my 17s look big and yet on the car they still look small hehe :) its all about personal opinion tho! as for fitting ul have no worries running 17s, or even 18s as far as i no! i certainly have had no issues with mine... and its getting droped on its ***** this weekend on sum -40mm spax so will be interesting to see what happens round the area when my front bumpers abouit 3cm from the ground..... mr bumper id like u to meet mr ground LOL they mite aswel get use to each other :D:D

hope thats of some use to ya :) oh and of course keep checking eBay, u often see bargins on ther esp gen7 celica 17s , they usually go for a decent buck and look wicked on the gen6!

i no that feeling as well, im ok at saving till i look at my car then its safe to say its gone LOL!

yeh i run Vibe amp/sub etc... not too sure where there earthed too, my dad sortred all that stuff for me il ask him but iv not had any probs, mybe i shud du my ear drums a favour look for the same prob as u :P :D

just had to buy two new front tyres for my mini and it only has 20 k on it from new altho at least they werent run flats which cost an arm and a leg
