Seriously tho. A lot of people recomend Eibach springs. A good compromise between firmness and comfort. If your putting stiffer springs on it`s always a wise idea to put uprated shocks on too. Otherwise you`ll be getting too much rebound. A good mix seems to be Eibach springs and uprated KYB shocks..

But you`ve got a very wide choice. Cheap springs are best avoided. It`s really a case of you pays your money and takes your choice.

As for links to shops etc. Hang around on the forum for a bit and you`ll pick up all sorts of links. eBay is also a good source of spares and related articles of bling. Happy hunting.:thumbsup:

Good product but a bit pricey IMO. Also coil overs tend to be a bit too firm. Not really had a look at the springs. But in real world terms you dont want anything too harsh. If you put 17`s on combined with stiff springs your car will look good but the ride quality will go all to hell. I`ve just gone back down to 16`s still with a 40 profile just to get some sort of control back. (!Removed! potholes  ) Not to mention acceleration. 17`s really made it suffer.:thumbsup:

Sorry. Didn`t mean to influence you. Just leting you know what my experience was. Ultimately it`s down to what you want to do with your car.:thumbsup:

i had 17" on my st202, no problems at all, as for lowering it, i personally wont again,it made the car far to uncomfrtable for my liking, ok on motorways and such , but as for dug up roads filled with tarmac all over the place , very very knocky.

I never had any probs with just the 17`s. It all went pearshaped when i put the springs on. Excellent on smooth roads but a real pain on normal ones. The combination just didn`t work. Big improvement with the 16`s :thumbsup:

Got my st205 lowered with GAB adjustables running 18"s with 40 profiles.Yeah its a damn hard ride feeling everything on the road, but it handles excellent and is fun in the wet stuff :D but its all down to your own choice and what you want from your car. Its not as harsh as the 18"s with 35 profile that i had on my st182 though

i know on the ST205, TRD springs are highly rated. gives the car a nice stance, rides nice and improves the handling
