Later in the year they are making a 170BHP model :)

Mitsubishi Colt CZT Spec:

1.5 Turbocharged

0-60 in 8sec

150BHP

154lb of Torque at 3500RPM

16" Alloy Wheels

Estimated £13,000

Released March 2005 (apparently)

Trust I've been following this car like anthing as well.

Yes... Very very tempted just requested a test drive!!! The insurance group is TBA that will decide it for me. I need a new car this year, TS or Colt.

Seems to be insurance group 14 according to a few tests and it does give back 4MPG which is nice.

Insurance quotes, groups never mean anything any more!

Review says their is alot of turbo lag. Be better to buy the 1.3 and fit after market exhaust and air filter. Be loads better. Doesn't sound that fantastic either.

Requested my test drive already :)

It said that. Low revs are well sluggish they said. The car rellys to much on the turbo. Im sure it goes some, returns good MPG (42MPG not my bad typo of 4MPG I said earlier lol)

Mmm a Turboed Yaris TS would be faster, cheaper and better I think.

Could get the Yaris now, start the modification process a yr or 2 down the line put in an after market turbo? Would it wipe the floor with the Colt?

Seems nice though. Will let you all know as and when I get a test drive.

Also its god damn ugly imo

Ok maybe that was a little harsh

But i still dont like it

Looks like a scaled down MPV just with 2 doors

It must be just me but so many new cars look like something else that’s already on the road.

The Colt reminds me of the Picasso with a touch of Mercedes A class

Looks good to me, Shame I think like all colts in the past, it will depreciate like hell!

I think a Skoda Fabia vRS would be a much better buy for the same money!

trust me in real life its nice very nice  i knew it was comming

in march.

150bhp is just its starting point,i know of a couple*cough* tuning companys thats going to get well over 200bhp out of it

if i had not had the charger on my car, i honestly think after sitting in it i would be buying one.But theres always next year :D

only problem with it is the rear suspension is abit of an issue.

and if there is turbo lag, just fit an anti-lag and then you'll get it popping and banging too :drool: nice

kimi
