Lowered My Car...

Fitted my Pi lowering springs last week and boy did they lower it!!

Should have dropped by about 40mm but i fitted rev3 onward springs

so they are loads shorter and appear to have dropped it by more like 60mm :D

Its still settling in as every time i move it, it gets a touch lower.

I think the back has got to its final height but the front will probably take longer to settle as there's no weight on it...

the ride is vastly improved,

its a little firm on rough roads but not bone shakingly bad :D

I ended up getting the springs for £80 quid...Bargain methinks

Here's a few dodgy pics from Jims rubbish camera, i'll take some better ones tomorrow.

lol... :D

Had to take the undertray from the engine off because

it would have been torn off by a cats eye :D

Ps. If anyone is looking for a set of standard rev 3 springs, here's my old ones...

Yes mate pretty straight forward.

The hardest part is putting the rear anti roll bar back on.

Should be fairly easy if you have a general idea of what your doing...

its just nuts and bolts

wow.. defo looks good..

what profile rubber you running on?

225/50/16 on the back and 205/50/16 front i think mate ;)

You probably will need to lower it mate...

The rims will be wider and will make it look like its even higher than it is.

Doubt you'll have any rubbing issues if you lower it cos a mate of mine has a lowered '2 with 18's on it!!

Cheers mate, Gonna get some spacers for the back.

The rear wheels are 8" wide but they have quite a high offset making them sit in a bit.

Never really noticed it till now

Skirts in the next couple of weeks too hopefully....

Oh and a tubby engine cover
