I checked out a nice car tonight the one in my previous thread and all has checked out well and I've got a great price too.

The car was great condition good runner all seemed great...however

The chassis number is like this

SW1010202166

but on the V5 doco its like this

SW101020266 and on all the MOT docs for the last 6 years its like that too so it wasn't even noticed all the way through...

Now to me it looks like a V5 typo so I have asked him to get it all sorted first before the deal goes through via the DVLA

Does anyone know hoiw easy it is to get these things rectified or will it be a big hassle....

Probably a typo.

When I bought my car, the log book said the engine size was 20000

Sent it back to DVLC and they corrected it.

Which one came out as the best deal? The 92 or the 95?

95 by far - great condition, new service, new brakes, new clutch, new tyres, cd player, great condition inside, new cambelt at 60,000, drives great, full service history....2 owners - and I just got another quote today on this exact vehicle and managed to save another £400 so down to £700 on the insurance too.

and done a deal for £3,300 on the price...
