Celica Gt4 205 Buying Advice

currently have a toyota glanza turbo and after looking at the celica 205 and getting a good qoute on one i thought i would look into it more.

was just wondering if anyone has any advice on what to look for when buying one.

- what are the spec of the 205 inc interior and special editions.

- how would people rate them and what are your experiences

interior on mine is cloth.comes with cd radio cassette , air con ( not always ) if uk model.e/w, folding e/m.abs but not always ( check )

i'd rate it as excellent , best car out of 41 i have owned.tops 140 with ease.petrol consumption is high , imports must run on optimax ,front suspension is expensive at £ 500 ish a side.

the fun out weighs the cost , i'd recommend a second car though as an everyday runabout

i've got a 185 GT4 and have to echo the above, fun totally out weigh's the cost.

test drove a carlos sainz 185 yesterday, very smooth but prefer the power mine's is siting at :D

Have a look at the buyer's guide on my site mate. There is one 'special edition' (the WRC) but tbh the only differences are really for rally homologation and don't make a difference to the performance. Some UK cars had leather interiors, and there was a facelift in 1997 with different spoiler, wheels, taillights and headlamps. Not much else changed.
