Hi all, i was just wondering what BHP you lot are running at - also torque as well. Adding to this, at what point does it become difficult to drive the car. for example 300 bhp - 400 bhp.

Cheers

Need to get it rolling roaded, im still rather depressed over the fact I cant get my downpipe sorted right now because of the cost having to get this oil leak sorted.

4 weeks i waited 4!! only to find out that engine repair has to come first :(

Best timed 0-60 was 4.871 secs. That was with my 17's and the old BFGoodrich GForce tyres on and measured with my mate's G-Meter on a nice cold dry day (not that we have too many of them).

...prolly more like 10 mins now, with the el cheapo's I've got on the 14's at the mo. :D

how do you rate those g-meters Earl?

a mate wants me to test one for him, but I'm not to sure about them.

Pretty good Stu. My mates was shipped from the states, and cost a pretty penny. It does all sorts (I guess it's kind of a GPS type of thing internally).

Check it out here: G-Meter

I would like the car to be running at 300 - 400 BHP with LAWDS of torque!! This probably sounds totaly unrealistic but seeing as its going to be equipt with a TRD wide body kit, it mite as well have the power to match the looks

Oh, were talking in a couple of years here + £1000's down the line.

Spot the power freak! :D

I like the way your actual figures at the wheels are rounded up... but the guestimates are to one decimal place!!! :P :D

Good figures though mate.

pswales... if you want a car that will pull like a train and impress your mates with how hard it pushes them into the seat, you want to focus on torque.

It's no good to have 300-400bhp if it's all at the top of the rev range. If you were driving round a 'city' like Milton Keynes, with lots of roundabouts and 200 metre straights between, then a Saxo VTS would probably show you up.

Power is all well and good if you want top speeds and quick quarter mile times... but to be fair, how often do you need that? You need quick day-to-day driving which is achieved with shedloads of torque through the rev range.

266bhp 235lbs torque

My target figure at the moment is 300bhp i just need to figure out how to get there from here without killing my car.

My cars become a bit of a chubby latley though with the 17" heavy chrome wheels and a rather weighty install i want some more power to push it along.

ah i cut and past the +15% figure from excel :)

car feels quite rapid, my car weightloss programs been going well, so far I seem to have the lightest turbo on IMOC :) 1250kg with a full tank of fuel 530 front axle, 720 rear :D so so pwr/weight is good :D
