after owning my turbo for 2 weeks i noticed the fog lamps were yellow. after buying 2 white bulbs from Halfords (which i found out i dont need now) as the ones already in there are white  , it seems like there is a yellow surround unit. does anybody know how to remove these as i tried yesterday for about 1 hour to no luck. i tried removing the glass and stripped them down so i was wondering if they are a sealed units. any ideas?

They are sealed so probably not a good idea to split them.

As for the yellow lense, Just smash them with a screw driver!

I know it sounds harsh but i did it with mine because i had one orange

and one white fog and did no damage to the rest of the unit.

Just shake the fog light to get the broken glass out.

Mine had yellow caps in them, I managed to get the bulb holder out of the back of the unit.

You need to cut a little bit of the black plastic and bend the earth terminal . You can then put the bulb holder in between some newspaper and then hit with a hammer/screwdriver. :D

Remove all the glass from the holder and then put the holder back into the fog light. Once you've down one the second one takes no time what so ever.
