HI IM WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 1.0 YARIS VVTi S AND A 1.0 YARIS VVTi GLS?

i think teri's first yaris was a gls, think it has colour coded bumpers as well.

An S is the very basic model. It does not have Power steering, electric windows, sunroof, electric mirrors, ABS and alloy wheels, all of which are on my GLS. I think alloys may be an option and 1999 GLS's dont have ABS.

i must admit, i like the insides of the new t-sport better than the old one, but prefr the outsides looks of the old one.

Basically, my car's got a silver SE Badge thing on the boot & then 1 on each side sumwhere, its not even in the logbook, reckon the last owner just bought the badges & stuck them on themselves? I'll try & sort sum pics out but havent been able 2 get my digital camera 2 work since I got it

That explains it then!

The model of car on the Yaris is usually situated near the wing mirrors, the phase 2’s have the model type on the boot, so I would think yours is a GS as you said.

Just glad the previous owner didn’t stick a turbo Badge on the back :D

Just had a look then, on my boot its got "yaris" on the right, under the window & under "yaris" it has "SE", then on the sides its got "GS" just in front of my wing mirrors with another "SE" @ the front of my doors, right @ the bottom. In my logbook it just says "Toyota Yaris GS", ne ideas wtf it is?
