Paseo Gear Knob

Hello!

I've just purchased a 96 N Paseo SI and I'm well chuffed. Paid 1950 with 58 thou, FSH and I'm gonna mod it a bit I think.

First thing I wanna do is change the gear knob.. At the mo it looks like a 70 year old's !Removed!.

Has anybody any tips for me?

virtually any aftermarket jobbie will screw on to replace the current one dude... just make sure the pole and the knob hole match up in terms of "girth" (no enuendo intended)

I'll be adding pictures to my garage, once I've got my membership sorted out, so I'll keep a log of all that i've done to the seo.

i've got a sparco gear knob on my. looks nice and is really comfy as well lol. cost a bit tho. bout £40

My gear knob is nothing special but i know what you mean about the standard one!! That was the first thing that i changed in mine!!!

The stock one just screws off! Cant wait to see pics!

I changed mine when I got the car, but also couldn't get used to it sitting so high. I took a hacksaw to it and cut a load of before fitting the new top. Much better.

Easy mod that looks so much better than a 70yr olds !Removed! (I'm guessing).

Hey people, um i got a 93 Paseo (Automatic) and the gear knob is fair anoyin me u know. Well i went to replace it, had the knob off, had disconnected the overdrive, and then realised that the round opening of the knob i bought wouldnt fit on the oval like shaft. Cant find any knobs that fit. Does anyone know if anyone has made a sik gear knob for autos that aint a crapy stock one?
