A Thing To Check With New Cars!

Having just bought my new 03 reg yaris t-sport and have been driving it around for nearly 2 weeks now, I noticed that the dealer had put the wrong registration on my number plates!!! It was only by chance I compared it to the vehicle reg doc<V5> and noticed the last two letters had been put on the wrong way.

The fun I could have had during the last 2 weeks!!!

Just a warning to everyone,imagine explaining that to the police.

check yours now...you never know.

How the hell did they manage to do a ***** up like that. You could have got yourself in a lot of trouble with the old bill if they had stopped you.

Shame on toyota for that. Still i bet you gave them hell over this matter i hope :ffs:

To be honest it does happen from time to time especially if a dealer is selling high volumes of cars. These new reg numbers are worse because they all start the same and most of the ones I've seen put on cars at work can be one letter on the end different or placed the other way around. It was a lot easier when it was a prefixed letter then two or three numbers because a batch of plates would all have different numbers.
