I've Wrecked The Front Of My T Reg Yaris

Hello to all.

This morning I skidded on some black-ice whilst braking, and landed right in to the back of a big 4X4 thing with a high Chrome Bumper.

This missed my bumper and went straight in to my bonnet, Smashed the drivers side light totally, also totally mangled the slam panel :help: which in turn dislodged my radiator.

Luckily the radiator is fine it just needs to be put back in place once the new slam Panel is ordered and fitted

I'll post a few pictures for you guys to laugh at lol

As expected the 4X4 hasn't got a scratch on it, the bumper has moved slightly and when I say slightly I mean "mm’s"

I've managed to get my hands on a new bonnet the only problem is that it's black. My Yaris is a dark blue/purple colour, does any one know how much this will cost to re-spray?

I will be repairing it myself -- Hopefully

Also any other comments welcome.

Regards lenry

Hello, A bit of an update

I've just had a quote for the repair of the 4X4 I hit.

For a new Chrome bumper including labour,

the grand total is *Cue Drum Roll* £430.00.

The estimation was £50.00 that's a stinger.

For my car,

I have the parts coming on Friday a bonnet, slam panel and drivers side Head Lamp.

Luckily the grill is fine as I believe this does not come with the bonnet.

Regards

Lenry
