Engine Coolant Light On - Help Please, Urgent!

Ok, so quite embarrasing. I've had my car for months and still don't know where to check the water level for my engine coolant.

The light is on in the car and I'm just about to do a 2hour motorway stint and don't want my car blowing up.... can anyone please tell me where to look!!

the bottle is just above the inner headlight as you lift the bonnet passenger side, ( white plastic ) black lid with a length of rubber pipe attatched to it. just next to the radiator cap , ps,dont fill it through the radiator if the engine is hot.

Thanks for your help Maleborn - it's not easy finding stuff in the dark when you don't know much about cars in the first place!
