I notice people that looking for the AE86. I know is quite rare now & handles good but why are they so expensive if they come up for sale?even ones that are not so good condition, it occasionally comes up on eBay & goes for much as £3 - 4k!

Whereas on other hand rear wheel drive cars like s13 200sx are newer & not as expensive or £3-4k can buy you a mkII MR2 that is much newer.

I would edit that if i were you! haha!

In std form they handle like a heap of !Removed!! Ive had 2 and as soon as i get them i put a decent set of shockers and springs on it! And even then the handling has alot to be desired!

Ive spent about £1500 on suspension to get it to handle well for track/road rallies/drifting! And that isnt even with coilovers!

No, No ,No Sir :o

A drift car should not handle well...

....... where is the fun it that

An ideal 'drift' car is also anything such as a Rear Wheel drive 70's car : Capri, Manta, Celica RA28 or MGB GT ...

... and an early frosty morning with an icey car park or...at work...on the Military 'parade' Ground with (in my case) a 'clapped out' MGB GT with worn shockers and suspension bushes :lol::lol:

Mgb.jpg

...and then you get caught by ...the Royal Military Police ...

...and up infront of the Garrison Adjutant ... but he lets you off 'cause ...

...your driving a 'Classic Car' and ... he "used to have one of those" and...

..."don't do it again!"

..."No Sir" :lol::lol::lol:

the reason why they command such prices is because they are becoming iconic.

they are the the perfect drifting/dohnut machines.

there are simply loads of them over here in ireland and they go for anything

between 5,000 euros and 14,000 euros.

people just cant get enough of them.
